Updated: 2 Mar 2021, 8:47 A BRAIN-DEAD couple who pitched a tent inches from the edge of a 280ft cliff have been hit with a fine for breaching coronavirus lockdown rules. 3 A couple have been slammed for camping on the edge of a cliff with a young childCredit: Staithes CG Police said a 27-year-old woman, from Doncaster, and a 30-year-old man, from Middlesbrough, had travelled to North Yorkshire to go camping along the Cleveland Way trail in Staithes. They both received fixed penalty notices for breaching stay at home lockdown restrictions. Stomach-churning photos show the tent just metres away from the edge of the cliff.

Full list of North-East restaurants on prestigious Michelin Guide 2021 SOME restaurants in the North-East have received a prestigious Michelin star while many others have noted in the Michelin Guide, an accolade in itself.  Bagging a Michelin star is the ultimate hallmark of culinary excellence, with 22 restaurants given new Michelin star ratings in during a virtual event. There were just three two-star Michelin awards and two-three stars, but 17 restaurants were awarded one star while 16 were given Bib Gourmand recognition. With its Bib Gourmand status, Michelin is championing value-for-money restaurants, offering good food at competitive prices. This year also saw The Michelin Green Star for Sustainability making its debut, with 23 restaurants receiving the award.
