DEWITT TWP.   Emergent BioSolutions, a Maryland-based company that develops and manufactures drugs and vaccines, is considering building a new facility in DeWitt Township. A 118,700-square-foot production and processing plant could be built at a 34-acre parcel owned by Emergent west of DeWitt Road and south of Port Lansing Road, according to a site plan submitted to the township.
