The fiords and alps are such a pristine natural habitat and it’s fantastic it remains as intact as it was before colonisation. Every Kiwi should experience this either at sea level, alpine or in the bush. The outdoor experiences are world-class and this is our best example of stepping back in time. Only by visiting it first-hand can we understand how nature can return to its original condition right here in Aotearoa.
