Tell Tales 5-6-21
We were sad to learn of the passing of Stephanie Richard of Port Clinton. She was just one of those people you enjoyed running into from time to time. She possessed boundless energy and was always smiling or laughing. She was just one of those people who brightened your day, no matter when or where you saw her.
There were only 41 cases of Covid 19 reported last week in Ottawa County and zero deaths. However, we learned that there has been a mini-outbreak of the disease at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Port Clinton affecting residents and staff. Ottawa County is now closing in on 50% of residents vaccinated.

With a great deal of volunteer help, barn quilts are popping up all around Ottawa County this winter. One of the latest to appear, thanks to prolific artist Rhonda Biedlingermaier of Oak Harbor, is her “Sunbonnet Sue” barn quilt which was attached to Norma Kihlken’s barn at 1450 S. Danbury Road in Danbury Township last weekend. (Photo by D’Arcy Patrick Egan)
