　　闻一多《红烛》英译本 　　“你可知‘Macau’,不是我真姓,我离开你太久了母亲……”1999年12月20日,《七子之歌·澳门》作为澳门回归庆典活动的主题曲传遍大江南北,走向世界,并逐渐成为澳门的一个文化符号。2019年5月31日,国家主席习近平给澳门濠江中学附属英才学校的小朋友们回信,信中提到:“我经常想起《七子之歌》,歌中表达的游子对回到母亲怀抱的渴望十分感人。”这首歌的歌词正出自诗人闻一多之手。 　　　　《七子之歌》是闻一多1925年留学美国时创作的组诗，包括“澳门”“香港”“台湾”“威海卫”“广州湾”“九龙岛”和“旅顺、大连”7篇。诗人以第一人称口吻反复吟咏“母亲！我要回来，母亲！”，作品以优美的旋律、真挚的感情，表达了闻一多乃至海外留学生的心灵寄托和精神归属，跨越近百年，其爱国情怀闪耀至今�
