Taboola inks three year deal with Val Morgan Digital

Val Morgan Digital (VMD) is the latest digital publisher to sign on with an open web discovery platform, engaging Taboola for in a multi-year partnership.
The entertainment, lifestyle and health content division of cinema and outdoor company Val Morgan will now utilise Taboola’s products to optimise user engagement and drive revenue.
These tools include the Taboola Feed, which is a vertical-scrolling feed, which provides targeted, relevant content.
VMD will also take advantage of Taboola Video and the recently upgraded Taboola Newsroom product, across its digital portfolio.

Taboola Video allows visitors to access integrated video, which plays only when in-view and initiated by the user.

VMD unveils editorial team for latest title Popsugar Australia

Val Morgan Digital has announced the editorial team for Popsugar Australia, which it began publishing earlier in January.

Until Bardas returns, the managing editor role will be taken on by Valentina Todoroska – who is also managing editor of The Latch – in the interim. Todoroska was formerly the lifestyle editor of 10Daily and managing editor of Mamamia.

Also joining the editorial team is Alexandra McCarthy, who will become beauty editor for Popsugar Australia in addition to her current role as beauty and wellness editor at The Latch. She previously worked at Woman’s Day, ELLE, WHO Magazine and Girlfriend Magazine.

Val Morgan Digital (VMD) continues to expand its digital publishing network, announcing a new partnership with US holding company Group Nine Media for women’s lifestyle title Popsugar.
Citing Group Nine’s Google Analytics from October 2020, VMD reports that Popsugar Australia reaches more than 1.2 million Australians each month, and managing director Brian Florido tells Mumbrella its addition to VMD’s stable of titles is part of the publisher’s plan to deliver a “unique” and “formidable” media offering for advertisers.
