CLEVELAND, Ohio Today, the Ohio Department of Agriculture issued a health alert for several food items sold from a local gas station on Cleveland’s west side.
After a routine inspection conducted by the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Division, a health alert was issued for the Pop-n-Place Shell Gas Station located on Memphis Avenue. The gas station has been accused of misbranding food items leading to possible “undeclared allergens,” according to a recent press release.
State officials say the alert was activated due to undeclared allergens.

CLEVELAND The Ohio Department of Agriculture has announced a “health alert” for various food items sold at a Pop-n-Place Shell Gas Station in Cleveland due to “misbranding issues that involve undeclared allergens.”
State officials say all impacted food items were sold from the cooler section at the gas station, which is located at 7210 Memphis Ave. These items may include the following:
Bakery items including individual slices of cheesecake and frosted cake slices in clam shell containers
Pudding in plastic deli containers
