The high court instructed the Hyderabad police commissioner to ensure that PoP Ganesh idols were only immersed in artificial ponds created by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
While upholding the order passed on Sunday, the Court said that the petitioners could have used natural clay or other items that can be immersed in water instead.
