TREASURE to Perform Exclusively on Shopee Live for Mid-Year Sale
On May 28, Southeast Asia and Taiwan s leading e-commerce platform Shopee announced that they will be holding an event in June to commemorate the 6.6 mid-year sale.
As part of the celebration, Shopee collaborated with one of the rising rookie groups in K-pop - none other than YG Entertainment s new boy group, TREASURE. Fans can watch Hyunsuk, Jeongwoo, Yedam, Doyoung, Haruto, Jaekhyuk, Asahi, Junghwan, Mashiho, Junkyu, Yoshi, and Jihoon perform exclusively on Shopee Live.

ENHYPEN has scored another major milestone as a rookie group with their comeback album BORDER: CARNIVAL ! In particular, the new boy group has entered the Billboard 200 for the first time in six months since their debut.

Billboard 200 is a weekly chart the rankings the 200 most popular extended plays and albums in the United States. It is often used to convey the popularity of a soloist or group.
The chart is based mainly on sales (both retail and digital) of albums in the US.
ENHYPEN Becomes the First Rookie Group to Debut on Billboard 200
On May 24, Billboard announced via Twitter the debuts on the Billboard 200 chart for the week dated May 29. One of the albums is a release by a Korean rookie group, none other than ENHYPEN.
Among the 2021 rookie groups, these are the top 6 with the highest first-week album sales so far. From January to April, several new K-pop groups made their debut, including MIRAE, PURPLE KISS, Ciipher, and more.

SEVENTEEN, who recently released their Hitori Janai single album, has set a remarkable record on Oricon Chart, making them the first K-pop boy group to do so.
On April 21, the 13-member boy group of Pledis Entertainment officially launched their third Japanese single album titled Hitori Janai or Not Alone in Japan. The album comprises the title track of the same name and the Japanese version of Run To You and HOME;RUN.
SEVENTEEN is the First K-pop Boy Group to Achieve This Milestone on Oricon Chart
On April 27, the initial album sales for SEVENTEEN s Hitori Janai on Oricon Chart, Japan s largest music statistics site, have been revealed. The boy band has recorded 314,765 total sales in the first week of the album s release. With this, the group ranked first on the Oricon Weekly Singles chart dated May 3.
