Dorset Way motorbike crash: Friends pay tribute to Joshua Cartlidge

1/1 MORE than 20 motorbikes, ten cars and two buses drove past the memorial site of 21-year-old Joshua Cartlidge to pay tribute after he died in a crash in March. Police officers were called to a road traffic collision that occurred just after 9pm on Monday, March 15, on the Dorset Way between the Oakdale slip road and the Tower Park roundabout involving a white Honda motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle, Joshua Cartlidge, a driver for Morebus, died at the scene. A group of Joshua’s friends decided to cycle 21 miles, starting at Poole Bus Station, in memory of their friend. The idea was born when the son of Morebus employee Chris Tubbs said he recognised Joshua and said he “always had a big smile on his face”.
