My family has lived there for 22 years now, and we have been very excited that theres to be a project to take away this abandoned building that is more than 20 years that has been empty. We saw the drawings for the project, for the first time last wednesday. It was not mailed out, as part of the 311 process because of the conditional use area i left a message for mr. Townes, he did not call me back. We left an email, week later he replied to the email. It turns out they were the wrong drawings area their outdated drawings area he sent us updated drawings, they are very close. So, for the last week it has been a hectic time to try to elicit a response from the neighbors to talk about what we thought the project was good or bad. Black tesla. Now, the tesla was actually a rental car. I talked with the owner a few minutes ago who said he rented out the tesla yesterday afternoon through the get around app. Based on the Surveillance Video theyve seen from nearby hotels, it looks like the woman driving the tesla was speeding up Taylor Street and ran the red light at o fairel. As she drove through the intersection, the tesla was broad sided by the mini cooper and caused the tesla to spin around and hit a couple who was walking in the cross walk. Police say the husband and wife were visiting San Francisco from clovis, which is near fresno and both were in their 50s. The husband has died. The wife is in serious condition at San Francisco general hospital. Its very upsetting. What are we at now, 14 or 15 fatalities, involving vehicle visit ped in the city. Its becoming very upsetting. Now the coroner says he is Benjamin Deen, a 39yearold man from clovis, which is about nine miles northeast of fresno. Both of them were in the crosswalk at ofarrell when the tesla crashed into them. The evidence yellow markers on yellow street shows how far they were thrown. Police say the black tesla crashed into them a man and a woman in the crosswalk of ofarrell just three blocks from union square. I heard it from my apartment, which is just a loud screeching.
