Where a defendant city moved for summary disposition in a negligence suit brought by two plaintiffs who were injured when their motorcycle hit a pothole, a judge’s decision to deny that motion should be upheld despite the city’s argument that (1) it lacked notice of the alleged defect, (2) the roadway surrounding the pothole was reasonably safe for travel and (3) the plaintiffs provided inadequate notice of the defect because they did not specify the “exact location” of the pothole.
