Six road sections in South Jakarta still inundated: authority 21st February 2021
Flooded section of Pondok Jaya road in South Jakarta (ANTARA/Laily Rahmawaty) Jakarta (ANTARA) - Flood waters still inundated six road sections in South Jakarta ranging from 10 to 100 centimeters high on Sunday morning, according to the South Jakarta Transportation authority.
Among the flooded road sections are Pondok Jaya in Mampang Prapatan Sub-district, Duren Bangka near Bangka neighborhood office, Gang Langgar, Bank, and Pela Mampang, Head of the South Jakarta Transportation Office Budi Setiawan said.
The flood water submerged some 300-meter-long section of the Pondok Jaya road. As a result, both motorists and car drivers could not yet passed through the road section connecting Mampang Prapatan, Bangka, and Kemang neighborhoods, he said.
