Street Auntie honours the street foods Yuyina Zhang loved growing up

In response to the attacks, she created a multicultural dish using smoked salmon and avocado salsa layered over crispy tofu skin from China. Food does not hate. Street Auntie’s launch was surprising in a couple of ways. It was conceived and opened during a pandemic that was killing many restaurants and businesses and on an uncool entertainment stretch of downtown Granville St.
