I just read Rory Dow s excellent article on MPE in the latest issue; this kind of thing is right up my street so it s good to have a better understanding of it. In terms of controllers though.
.first, the Eigenharp. I m not sure if anything except the Pico is available now.? Seems to be a moot point. The hardware requires a Mac or PC running dedicated software called EigenD, and it s this which can generate MPE data, though it s a bit of a nightmare to work with, TBH.
The Soundplane is also pretty unobtainable; I ve only ever seen it crop up occasionally on Reverb. The website says: We made 90 units of the Soundplane Model A. Currently we are working on a Model B. It s said that for years.
