Judge Deborah “Kim” Christopher set a trial date of Feb. 26 for a Polson man accused of killing his mother. Garrett Vaska, 46, entered a plea of not guilty in Polson District Court Sept. 28.
A Pablo man who appeared in Polson District Court Sept. 27 was committed to five years with the Montana Department of Corrections with no time suspended on a burglary conviction. Casper Quade Fitch, 39, entered a plea agreement that amended aggravated burglary to burglary and went straight to sentencing.
A Missoula man has admitted to strangling the mother of his children. Brent Michael Lemler, 34, entered a plea of guilty to felony strangulation of a partner or family member in Polson District Court Sept. 28.
A Billings man, formerly from Polson, was sentenced in Polson District Court Sept. 21 to a total of 10 years in the Montana State Prison with five years suspended on domestic violence-related charges.
