Raven's Io sets tempo for Fnatic's sweep of T1 in DPC-SEA upper division

Published January 20, 2021, 8:14 PM Photo from Fnatic Dota Facebook page  Filipino 11k MMR carry Polo “Raven” Fausto shone bright on his Io as Fnatic crushed T1, 2-0, in the opening series of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC)-Southeast Asia Regional League upper division on Wednesday night.  Raven’s full-packed Io with Aghanim’s Scepter, Black King Bar, Heart of Tarrasque, Sange and Kaya, and Assault Cuirass was an unkillable force in Game 1 where Fnatic pulled off a comeback 34-30 victory in 46 minutes.  Raven formed a deadly duo with Malaysian midlaner Kam “Moon” Boon Seng’s Monkey King and the power of the two was strongly evident when they won a 3v5 situation against T1 in the 39th minute.

Neon blasts Indonesia's BOOM to open its DPC-SEA upper division campaign

Published January 20, 2021, 9:45 PM Photo from Neon Esports Facebook page Neon Esports battered direct invite BOOM Esports of Indonesia, 2-0, for a flying debut in the upper division of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC)-Southeast Asia Regional League on Wednesday night.  Soft support Andrei “debil 2000” Ong (popularly known as Skem) took charge for the qualified Filipino squad with his Mirana in Game 1 while it was midlaner Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer who starred with his Queen of Pain in Game 2.  Neon, which is fresh off a successful run in the Moon Studio Kagura Championships where it won $6,400 (more than P300,000), got a share of the early lead with Fnatic.

T1 bounces back with 2-0 win over Execration in BTS Pro Series

Published December 18, 2020, 10:49 PM Photo from T1’s Facebook page Karl “Karl” Jayme and Carlo “Kuku” Palad’s T1 Entertainment & Sports thrashed Execration, 2-0, to continue its run in the Beyond The Summit (BTS) Pro Series Season 4 Southeast Asia on Friday night.  Filipino stars Karl and Kuku were the driving force in the Game 2 clincher as the Korean squad cruised to the lower bracket semifinal of the $50,000 (P2.4 million) regional tournament featuring eight powerhouse teams in the SEA server. Laoatian carry Souliya “JaCkky” Khoomphetsavong came through with a monstrous performance on his Riki in Game 1 to dictate the tempo for T1, which bounced back from a 2-1 loss to Team Dog bannered by Abed “Abed” Yusop and Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang in the upper bracket.
