UP govt to hire youth in pollution checking centres

Lucknow, April 22 : Keeping in mind the thousands of young unemployed people in the state, the UP Transport Department has come up with a new scheme.
Under the scheme, the Transport Department is opening 600 Automobile Pollution Testing Centres to check the problem of toxic smoke being released from the vehicles.
Youths who have passed High School will get employment in these centres.
According to the scheme, 600 pollution checking centres will be opened at the tehsil level in all the 75 districts of the state, including Lucknow.
