Delhi air pollution: Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai held a meeting with a team from IIT-Kanpur on Wednesday to discuss the possibility of artificial rainfall through cloud seeding to bring down the AQI of the national capital.
Gopal Rai's comments come as the air quality in Delhi and surrounding areas become hazardous, down from very poor, with the overall AQI in the national capital reaching 309 on Sunday morning
Many doctors are also recommending patients, especially the vulnerable such as the elderly, children and people with respiratory ailments, to use air filters at home and avoid stepping out during early mornings and evenings.
