Coimbatore: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested an All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) functionary and two of his friends in connection with a case of sexual harassment of women by a gang at Tamil Nadu’s Pollachi in 2019. The AIADMK has now expelled party’s Pollachi town Students Wing secretary K Arunanandam.
The trio have been remanded to 14-day judicial custody by the Mahila court in Coimbatore.
