on all of this later on. we re separately learning that the bond order that the president had to sign in order to leave the courthouse states that he had no contact with any witnesses in this case, including walt nauta, that was indicted. the former body man for the president who was helping him move boxes around. some say that he was this co conspirator that hatched this plan to hide that from authorities. so much we don t know. this much we do. the former president went ahead and signed that bond order about a half an hour ago. let s get the latest from mark meredith in miami. he takes a look at what went down just a few minutes ago. hi, mark. neil, good afternoon to you. a historic day. these proceedings will continue long after this arraignment hearing wrapped up in the last few minutes. as we mentioned, the former president pleading not guilty. the justice department under the special counsel last charged him with that he conspired to hide these classified documents as
type of visuals in different parts of the country with different indictments. and then it moves to iowa and then moves to other early states like new hampshire and south carolina. this is fasten your seat belts. this is going to be bumpy. i think this country is polarized right now and that will continue until certainly after the 2024 election is over and probably beyond. neil: if you re donald trump and you re looking at the poll surge and probably will be confirmed again after this, we don t know but we know right now his lied has widened. there s a separate school of thought that the more people look into this, they start getting, you know, trial or jury or indictment fatigue. that it will set in. it hasn t set in yet. there s a large swath of americans that are just of the opinion, this is more of the same old pile-on. i m just not in to it. it s actually drawing voters to
neil: you know, you think about it, you know what the end result was in georgia and the republican candidate pulling the race out. the fact of the matter is, post of the polls that were taken prior to that had a sudden momentum lift to jon ossoff, that he would edge it up. some had him up seven points. bottom line, he was favored in this late surge and not her. except this last one. this last one had it right. almost to the tenth of a percent. the man behind that poll, the gop poll surge, senior strategist, robert cahally. good to have you here. great to be here. neil: what did you see that the other polls were miss something. it starts with an understanding that as campaign
fell. but trump made another claim last night, one that is a little harder to fact check, trump boasted he has a sixth sense. sort of a spidey sense when it comes to predicting terror attacks. cnn s athena jones is in washington. he essentially said last night if everyone listened to him the twin towers might be standing. that s right, john. he said about 18 months before 9/11 he warned about osama bin laden saying he s a bad guy, you better take him out. he s going to be trouble. trump also touted his own high iq and his high poll numbers last night. meanwhile his opponents are blasting his tough rhetoric and hoping for a poll surge of their own. i haven t done this yet. i brought my family.
