hypotheticals. i ll say the concept is a very important concept. this is what it means to be an american, that we are the city on the hill, because we believe we re innocent until proven guilty. that was republican senator and presidential contender tim scott discussing the possibility of a pardon for trump if scott wer if / he were to be elected. joining us is eugene daniels, let s start with republicans and how they re reacting from the trump indictment. we heard chris christie saying don t blame what s the sense as to how some of these other candidates, particularly vice president pence, governor desantis, how are they going to respond to what we see later today in a miami courtroom? at this point all we ve seen is get almost squarely behind
