Andhra Pradesh State borrowings put to proper use
Amaravati: YSRCP leaders came down heavily on TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu for his remarks on State borrowing and said the amount was put to proper use by the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Minister for Civil Supplies Kodali Venkateswararao (Nani) said that Chandrababu had borrowed Rs 3.6 lakh crore during his tenure, incurred wasteful expenditure and looted the most. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has borrowed Rs 90,000 crore and put it to proper use. Funds were used for the needy weaker sections in times of pandemic and the State did not withhold any welfare activity which was carried out in a transparent manner.

Andhra Pradesh: CPI State secretary K. Ramakrishna earlier has said that the decision on privatization of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) is taken as part of the larger policy decision of the Centre to privatize all public sector organizations in the country.
Mr. Ramakrishna called for a mass movement against the privatization of VSP. He further said that It is foolish to say that the Visakha steel movement was brought in to sideline Hindutva.
Somu Veerraju is the State President of the BJP party and an MLC of Andhra Pradesh. Ramakrishna criticized Somu Veerraju saying, Somu Veerraju has a C/O address for lies. Senior Congress leader and former minister Janareddy said the Nagarjunasagar constituency has developed tremendously during the Congress regime. He commented that the TRS party is proudly showing off the development and the progress made by the Congress as though they did it themselves.
In Haliya, 200 TRS activists joined the Congress in the presence of Janareddy. Janareddy alleged that in the rush for the by-election itself, several works, including the Yellikal lift in Nagarjunasagar constituency, were started.
Janareddy suggested that the people should abide by KCR s promise to defeat the TRS party if development does not take place. However, if the development promised takes place then KCR asks that people vote for him and TRS.
