TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Florida State Head Coach Leonard Hamilton, who has led the Seminoles to a 12-3 overall record and an 8-2 mark in ACC play, has been named to the Late Season Watch List for the Werner Ladder Naismith National Coach of the Year. Hamilton is a candidate for the National Coach of the Year Award for the second consecutive season. He is one of two ACC coaches on the list.
Hamilton and his staff have guided the Seminoles to a No. 16 national ranking just one season after losing three players to the NBA and a fourth who is enjoying a significant career as a professional player in Europe.
