political experience. in this case, you have somebody who has tried to be in government for many years, mitt romney, but come up short in previous campaigns, has only spent four years as governor. obviously spent his life in the business sector and then you ve got paul ryan, who spent his life in washington. it s a fun thing to talk about. i m not sure at the end of the day if it will matter. what about to republicans, you know, who have looked or americans looking at paul ryan s voting record. he voted for medicare part d, voted for t.a.r.p., voted for the auto bailout. ryan cites all of these facts in his piece in the new yorker but said he felt quote miserable as a fiscal conservative during that era. is paul ryan a team player despite deep convictions, is it vice versa? this of course begs the larger question of a romney/ryan dynamic. if paul ryan is the vice president, how does that affect mitt romney s policy making decisions and vice versa? i think there is going to be
state s heaviest employees. but in a state where at least 1,400 teaching jobs have been lost by budget cuts in the last year, wouldn t that money be better spent keeping children in the classroom? yvonne, obviously this is a time of tough choices for states everywhere, because everybody s battling budget cuts, but are people going nuts over this? i have had a lot of reactions today from readers who are just really concerned with the policy making decisions of lawmakers at a time when the state has such high unemployment, it s cut back on the number of teachers, the number of troopers, it cut hiv and aids medicine for 900 people in the state and they re just wonderering where their priorities are? $2 million for gastric bypass and lap band surgery, what s their justification for it? they think they can save money, and data according to a
flesh, conception or birth? which is it? it s a good question. the word defines her policy making decisions, she said later in the speech. kind of makes it hard to understand her position on abortion. i m sorry. all these religious questions are appropriate only in church. with your head bowed. right. look, we re dealing with the ideas that progressives laid out 100 years ago and the disease they planted in the church. social justice, collective salvation. a disease. bad stuff. but we are not just dealing with speaker of the house, kings, magistrates or principalities here. we have something bigger going on. the tactics are as old as time. exposing those ideas to the disinfectant of sunlight causes people to freak out! progressives have worked on this for 100 years. they re freaking out because sunlight makes us scatter underneath the refrigerator like a cockroach.
