he has a piece out on this issue titled, the u.s. economy grew faster than expected in 2021, but the pandemic transformed its composition. jason, you were there, dealing with the difficulty of the last time a democratic president was sworn into office with the country in the midst of crisis. and huge economic challenges. and, i think you have the scars to show for it because it was a difficult job. what would you say, how would you characterize, what is the policy grade you gift the macro economic and fiscal response this time around? i m glad we have seen such a big response. there are two differences between this experience and the experience we had before. the first is, this was, in some ways, like a natural disaster that hit. it has not gone completely away, but it has somewhat gone away.
