While attacking a woman named Sanghavi with a knife in her house in LB Nagar, Shivakumar allegedly stabbed her brother Prithvi to death when he tried to shield her.
The incident allegedly took place on the night of August 15. After photos and videos of the woman and the alleged brutality came to the fore, tribal rights organisations staged a protest outside the police station on Thursday.
