of crime becoming paramount for some voters. crime is going to be a looming issue going into the 20124 election. we know that. and i believe democrats learned a harsh lesson from 2022 in that you just can t wish it away. you can t just say that people aren t feeling crime. you can t say that it s not on your doorstep if you re running for, say, governor of new york. you have closer races than usual. if you misread the emotions and the feels of your constituents and people who are out there. that s first. second, i think joe biden, of all people, this is not someone who is soft on crime. this is not someone who is a defund the police type of candidate, but he s going to have to grapple with and i think d.c. is a microcosm of him trying to grapple with having criminal justice reform that many of us want in light of nichols who was bludgeoned by memphis police. he has to show he has the
domestic terrorism charges that are playing out in atlanta? there is not enough time in the show for me to illustrate the hypocrisy coming out of the left and mainstream media that flies in the face of this violent video. and those livelihood and small business owners are suffering every day. harris: so true. lili: this is when it hurts me. people coming outside of a city that happens to be majority minority. 40% or so of police officers in atlanta are minorities. so you say you are advocating for social justice or equity, representing the voices of health minorities. but you are not. what you are actually doing is hurting the very home of those you claim to be representing in the fight for justice. it is contradictory. it is affecting the small businesses owned by the people you re supposed to be protecting in the police type of narrative. these actions are showing what we need is actually more police. harris: this is what you
it goes back to leadership. you have a defined the police type of mantra going on with the radical politicians, their budgets are actually smaller than they used to be the previous year, crimes have gone up, they ignore that, one of the jobs of elected officials, the number one job is to ensure the safety of their citizens. and you don t get to choose which one of your job descriptions you are going to implement. in my experience and for the military, it s a dereliction of duty by not doing that number one job. this is what s happening, the criminals don t necessarily play about the same rules that we do. and unfortunately the police officers, they ve been vilified. the morale is no, recruitment is down, the numbers are down and retention is down, so we are left as a very vulnerable
