Kent police were called out to an alligator on the loose this morning - only to find it was a 2ft long plastic toy. A concerned member of the public reported the reptile shortly before 8am this morning.
Car collides with tree in Leysdown Road, Warden

A woman freed from the wreckage of a car which smashed into a tree was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and possession of cocaine.
The smash happened in Leysdown Road, Warden - on the Isle of Sheppey - at 5.25pm yesterday.

Police were called and a woman, 33, was arrested.
She was taken into custody and remains there this morning.
Officers say no serious injuries were reported.
