Reps constitute Service Chiefs' screening Committee

Share The leadership of House of Representatives on Wednesday constituted a Special Committee that will screen the newly appointed Service Chiefs. The Speaker, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila who announced members of the Screening Committee to be chaired by Chairman, House Committee on Defence, Hon. Babajimi Benson, acknowledged receipt of President Muhammadu Buhari’s letter on the new Service Chiefs, namely: Major General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor – Chief of Defence Staff; Major General Ibrahim Attahiru – Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo – Chief of Naval Staff and Air Vice Marhal Isiaka O. Amao – Chief of Air Staff. According to him, Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen and three members of Standing Committees on Army, Navy, Air Force and Defence will be members of the Special Committee.
