Detectives now searching the home for clues after a twoyearold child was shot by his fouryearold cousin while the boys played with a loaded handgun. The bullet passed through his hand and then hit him in the torso. Reporter chief inspect scott smalls says the 40 caliber was in the fouryearolds hands when it went off striking the toddler. The twoyearolds mother was in the next room cooking for the holiday. Her boyfriend was also home. Both are being interviewed by east detectives to find out where the gun came from, why it was loaded and how the kids found it.
