The Enugu State Command of the Nigerian Police Force on Monday said it neutralised two kidnap suspects terrorising motorists along the Enugu-Ugwuogo-Opi-Nsukka road. The command in a statement, however, regretted the loss of one of its officers when the officers engaged the hoodlums when they attempted to kidnap some travellers at Ogbeke-Nike along the road. In the statement signed by the Command's spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe, said that the incident happened on Sunday, adding that several other hoodlums escaped with bullet wounds.
