Punch Newspapers Sections Daniels Igoni The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, Mr Mike Okoli, has suspended casual leave for officers serving at the command during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.  He has, therefore, directed all officers to be on red alert during the festive period to forestall any security breach.  A statement on Saturday by the spokesman for the command, Asinim Butswat, said Okoli gave the directive during the senior police officers’ end of the year gathering at the Police Officers’ Mess, Yenagoa.  The statement was titled, “Yuletide: CP Mike Okoli orders officers to be on red alert, suspends all casual leave during the festive season.”
