Underground firearms factory busted in Pabna, two held

A team of police busted an illegal firearms factory and arrested two people suspected to be arms manufacturers from Notabaria area of Pabna s Bera upazila yesterday afternoon.
The arrestees are Md Abdulla Al Monsur Mithu (43), and Abdullah Al Siam, our Pabna correspondent reports quoting Officer-in-charge of Detective Branch of Police Md Abdul Hannan.
The factory was operated by one Mehedi Hassan Shovon in an underground room of his cousin Md Alom s house. Shovon and his cousin Alom went into hiding during the drive. Police are investigating the incident.
