Thats right john. Cyndi. Earlier today i spoke with a local bee keeper. Who says ten bee stings per pound is all it takes for the body to be overwhelmed. Meaning if a 180 pound man were to be stung 18 hundred to 2 thousand times the body would start to shutdown. Now that seems like a lot. But im told a couple thousnd bees is just tenpercent of an average africanized bee hive. Which is the type of bee hive pacheco was attempting to remove. Im also told close to 100 percent of bees in the valley are africanized. But only 25percent are aggressive. Las vegas fire and rescue say the amount of calls they receive have gone down more and more over the years. The bees you have to look out for are the ones coming out of walls. Sprinkler heads. And cracks in buildings. People think oh, well just let them go, well youre really wishing death on your neighborhood because as soon as they take flight, the first thing that has musk perfume or different perfumes, loud noise, bees are going to attack it.
