DRCs to play key role in settling hundreds of disputes, feuds

PESHAWAR: A dispute resolution council (DRC) in the provincial capital has received 4043 applications in the last almost seven years, out of which 2013 cases have been settled while 163 are still under process.
Other cases were sent for legal action or were returned for not having proper ground. A Chinese national was among thousands of complainants who moved a DRC in the provincial capital some time back to get back his amount that he invested in business with a local resident. The DRC Gulbahar, after a couple of hearings, resolved the issue and the local returned Rs1 million to the foreigner.

Peshawar, March 15, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi today visited the residence of Shaheed Additional SHO Niaz Muhammad at Godar Kalay Jamrud District Khyber where he expressed his deep grief and sorrow with the members of the bereaved family and offered fateha for the departed soul. It may be recalled that Additional SHO Niaz Muhammad embraced martyrdom while his two other colleagues police officials got injured in an action against dreaded narcotics peddlers.

PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr Sanaullah Abbasi Friday visited the residence of late Deputy Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Yameen Khan to express his deep grief and sorrow over his sad demise.
IGP met bereaved family members and offered fateha for the departed soul, who died of cardiac arrest on Thursday. Regional Police officer Malakand Abdul Ghafoor Afridi and DPO Swat Dilawar Bangash also accompanied the IGP. The IGP prayed to the Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the members of the deceased family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. IGP Dr Sanaullah Abbasi paid glowing tributes to the services of late Muhammad Yameen Khan by saying that he was a thorough professional, brave and hardworking police officer.
