A woman is dead after a vehicle strikes her and her nineyearold son in port richmond. Eyewitness news at aramingo and tioga. The womans child was taken to Saint Christophers Hospital and he is currently in Critical Condition. Authorities say the woman died shortly after arriving at Hahnemann Hospital and police say the 29yearold driver who hit them is suspected of dui but did stay at the scene. There is almost a cop on every corner here as they essentially surround the place in the event that williams tries to walk out. For some neighbors its been an unnerving day. Seen a lot of cops . Yes, sir. With long guns. A little scary . Children at home . They are at home. Reporter a little nervous . My oldest is nervous. We talked about it and the importance of catching people who break the law. Reporter police say williams shot and wounded a 23yearold man last night during an argument in the parking lot of the mcdonalds on dale boulevard. Williams has been on the run ever since. At one point he carjacked a man in his effort to get away. With williams at the time of the incident a woman identified by police as jamie boyar. She is still at large. So now all clear in this community shooting suspect Duane Williams is now in police custody. Ill be back with more details
