The driver of the dumper and six bus passengers were among the injured. The accident took place in an accident-prone area on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway between Katraj and Narhe.
Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kumbhar said, “No arrest has been made yet. The three youngsters who sustained severe injuries in the incident were admitted to a hospital for treatment. We have recovered two country-made pistols and two live cartridges from the accused.”
