People living in the areas of Colchester, Cumberland, East Hants, and Pictou County were told to seek immediate shelter and lock their doors and windows by N.S. RCMP.
On Tuesday, the RCMP said the 36-year-old woman, named Holly Cooper, was found dead. Shortly after, the remains of three-year-old Lucas Robert Cooper were identified nearby.
