BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) Police in Calhoun County say a semi-truck traveling on I-94 Thursday afternoon was struck by a rock thrown from two people standing on an overpass.
The driver was headed eastbound on the freeway at around 3:30 p.m.. When he drove under the Capital Avenue overpass, the rock struck and shattered a window on his truck. There’s no word if the driver suffered any injuries.
Michigan State Police Troopers say two people wearing grey hoodies were observed in the area, but they have no other suspect information at this time. They are investigating the incident as a malicious destruction of property case.
