questions is, the school resource officers, what is the process, is there a metal detector at the school? how did he get the gun in to the school? i don t believe there s a metal detector there at the school. i don t know for certain. i know there were two misd police department school resource officers that were on campus at the time of the shooting. they responded immediately as well as the arlington police department. i m very proud of the rapid response of not just our police department but the surrounding communities and assisting and locking everything done, making sure the rest of the kids were safe. how he got the gun in school is yet to be determined. i don t know if he snuck it in in a backpack or how it was in school and how long it was in school. regardless, he had it illegally and it was it shouldn t have been there.
