After two consecutive nights of teen violence on the Ocean City Boardwalk, the mayor vowed it will not continue.
"I understand the impact that this behavior has on all of our residents, guests and business owners, and I want to assure everybody that Ocean City will not tolerate it," Mayor Jay A. Gillian said in a release from the city Sunday afternoon.
Gillian s statement came one day after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed during a fight on the Boardwalk on Saturday night. On Friday night, police were called to break up a fight involving two juvenile females.
