Hansen | OBSERVER Staff Writer - A recent United Nations report found that Black people in the United States are three times more likely to be killed by police than if they were white, and four and a half times more likely to be incarcerated, and called for reform of use-of-force regulations and alternative responses to policing.
Portsmouth native Nicholas Gordon is known as Cletus Kassady, his comedian alter ego who's performed stand-up, written for other performers and acted in plays and films. But he's most recently gained prominence for his comedic recaps of Portsmouth City Council.
