A child younger than 1 year old was flown by medical helicopter after a 911 call for a water rescue in Murrysville. Westmoreland 911 officials said the incident was reported around 4:07 p.m., on the 5000 block of Sardis Road in Murrysville. The child was transported to Sardis Fire Department and transferred to a medical helicopter, a 911 supervisor said. Murrysville Police Chief Tom Seefeld said the incident occurred inside a residence.
