An officer responding to a hoax active shooter call at a Massachusetts prep school inadvertently made the situation worse by accidentally firing a gun.
Police said the shot hit the bathroom tile next to the officer's foot. Police said the gunshot was accidental, but resulted in an increased response from area departments.
