An off-campus incident involving a Pima Junior High student that apparently included the mention of a gun resulted in all Pima Schools being placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon.
Local law enforcement officials say movement of cartel smuggling routes and increased human smuggling activity is making it more difficult to protect public safety.
