Nigerian Police Deploy Officers To Banks, ATM Locations, Warn Against Naira Scarcity Protest

The Bayelsa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has deployed more police officers to commercial banks and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) points in the state following chaos going on in the country over naira scarcity. There have been a series of protests in Ogun, Lagos states and other parts of the country as hardship and excruciating pains unleashed by the naira scarcity continue to hit Nigerians harder, forcing some businesses to shut down while some pupils and students no longer afford transport fares to go to school.
