Click the thumbs up >Polestar has appointed Martin Gurney as head its European Fleet and Business section, specifically looking after the UK and Benelux regions.
He joins the Geely-owned luxury electric car brand from Stellantis, were he spent more than two decades in roles across retail, sales and training.
Most recently he was director of fleet and used vehicles for the Peugeot, Citroen and DS brands in the UK.
Gurneys appointment comes as Polestar UK enters its eighth month delivering the Polestar 2, it’s first mainstream model.
The brand is raising its presence in the fleet sector and Gurney is charged with developing those sales within some European markets.

Following on from the opening of the Geely-owned electric vehicle (EV) brand’s first range showcase store, through a partnership with the AM100’s Endeavour Automotive at London’s Westfield Shopping Centre, the new Lookers-run site has been established in Manchester’s key shopping location.
Around 35 million people visit the Trafford Centre each year and the new facility has opening hours of 10am to 10pm Monday to Friday, 10am until 9pm on a Saturday and midday until 6pm on a Sunday
