They are currently working to clear that scene but also of course they are investigating. So this could take at least another halfhour or so to fully be cleared so we are going to keep you updated on that throughout the morning. Burned through more than 19,000 acres near big sur and is 10 contained. Hundreds have been evacuated and firefighters say more than 1600 structures are threatened. The fire has already consumed 20 houses. Weather isnt not providing much help as temperatures climb into the 100s in much of Monterey County. And lots of people in the bay area can see the smoke from that wildfire and combined with the extreme heat we have air quality warnings in Santa Clara County and southern alameda county.
