Right now to tell you about. This time it is out of Prince William county. We are just learning details about a brutal home invasion. This happened yesterday afternoon on king george in manassas. Somebody saw a woman tied up inside the home, called police. They arrived and found two women bound and gagged along with a 4 and 5yearold. A 1yearold girl was found but she was not harmed. Investigators say the two bad guys busted in to the backdoor of the home and demanded cash. One of the women was sexually assaulted. The attackers tied up the victims then took off. Lets show you that car behind me that you see, that is an undercover vehicle that was driven by a narcotics officer here and it was fired on. Now, police dont know whether the gunman knew that this was a police car but they say it was brazen just the same and that officer is lucky to be okay. The search through this frankfort neighborhood followed gun fire. In succession. Like that. I was just, wow. I was three blocks away and could hear how loud it was. Just a bunch of gun fire. Reporter a moore told investigators she gave birth to a baby boy on february 11th but the child only lived a few hours and she never told anyone the baby died. She told police i held him and all those feelings rushed back. I just wandered my baby. It felt like you a holding my son again. It felt so good. I didnt want to lose that feeling. I was crazy. Police have not been able to confirm a moores pregnancy saying the investigation is onglowing she has told our investigators that she did not go to the mall with the intention to steal a baby. Reporter Cherie A Moore was unable to post 500,000 cash bail this afternoon so she is locked up in the Montgomery County correctional facility.
